Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, heading toward the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy beautiful views of the Great Rift Valley along the way, with a short stop for photos at the viewpoint. Continue through the rolling highlands to arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. After settling in, embark on your first afternoon game drive across the Mara’s vast plains — look out for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and many more species. Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in the heart of the Maasai Mara. With a packed picnic lunch, explore different regions of the reserve in search of the Big Five and other iconic animals. Depending on the season, witness the dramatic Great Wildebeest Migration as massive herds cross the plains. Visit the Mara River to observe hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife. After an early morning breakfast, check out and enjoy a final short game drive as you exit the Maasai Mara. Begin your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park, traveling through beautiful countryside, farmlands, and scenic Rift Valley landscapes. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park — a haven for black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, buffalo, lions, leopards, and abundant birdlife. Explore the lake shores, acacia woodlands, and viewpoints such as Baboon Cliff for incredible panoramic views. You may also see flamingos and pelicans feeding along the alkaline shores.
